One of our favorite ski days starts with laps off Lift 5, where you’ll find some of the best intermediate terrain and sunshine on the mountain. When it’s time to refuel, we love stopping at Bon Vivant for a cozy European-style lunch, or heading a bit lower to Gorrono Ranch for a more laid-back, lively scene with great food, live music, and views.

Shopping in Telluride is one of our favorite ways to spend a laid-back afternoon, with a mix of unique boutiques and local gems. Flying into Montrose? The shuttle to Telluride is an easy, scenic ride that takes the stress out of mountain travel—just sit back, relax, and enjoy the views. To make arrival even smoother, place a grocery order ahead of time with Walmart and schedule it for pickup before heading up. It’s a simple way to stock up on everything you need so you can settle in and start enjoying your stay right away.
