Ski access is directly across the street, approximately 150 steps from the lodge. The free gondola connects Mountain Village with downtown Telluride, making it easy to enjoy restaurants, shopping, festivals, and other local attractions without driving.

Yes. The lodge accommodates up to 12 registered guests across five bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Spacious living and dining areas, a pool table, ping-pong table, and private hot tub make the home especially comfortable for multigenerational families and groups of friends.

Yes. Elk Lake Lodge is a three-level home, and guests must use stairs to access some bedrooms and living spaces. Please contact us before booking if anyone in your group has mobility concerns so we can explain the layout in more detail.

The lodge does not have air conditioning. Like many mountain homes in Telluride, it relies on cool evening temperatures and fresh mountain air during the summer.

Pets may be permitted with advance approval. The pet fee is $400 per approved pet. Unapproved pets or additional pets are subject to a $500 fee per pet. Please contact us before booking if you plan to bring a pet.

Yes. The property includes heated garage parking and additional designated parking. Parking instructions are provided before arrival. Street parking and parking outside the designated areas are not permitted.

Guests commonly fly into Montrose Regional Airport and arrange a rental car or private shuttle to Mountain Village. Once you arrive, the free gondola and local transportation make it possible to explore much of Telluride without driving. Yes. Elk Lake Lodge has a private hot tub with mountain views, an upper deck with outdoor dining and lounge seating, and an outdoor fire pit. These spaces are intended for the enjoyment of registered guests and are not available for parties or events.

No. Kayaks and paddleboards are not provided with the home, but both are easy to rent nearby during the summer season.

No. Complimentary resort access is not included with the rental. Daily access to resort facilities may be available for purchase separately through the resort.

Yes. The lodge has high-speed Wi-Fi and several comfortable areas for working remotely. Because the home accommodates groups, guests who need uninterrupted quiet may want to coordinate workspace use with the rest of their party.
